1 How it works
A supplier award is rarely decided by one person. Whoever prepares the comparison sends it to someone who checks it and someone who approves it. NazmIQ keeps that loop in one place: every comparison you run is saved, you share it with a private link, and the people you send it to approve, reject or comment on it. Their names and dates go into the Excel's sign-off rows.
2 Your saved comparisons
Every finished comparison is saved to My Files › My comparisons, so you can reopen the report after closing its tab. Run the same package again (an updated quotation, an extra supplier) and it is kept as a new revision of the same comparison, with what changed listed under it.
- Paid plans: kept until you delete them.
- Free plan: kept for 30 days.
You can rename a comparison, open any earlier revision, or delete one.
4 What reviewers see
The link opens a read-only copy of that revision: the full comparison report, the date it was run, when the link expires, and a Download Excel button. Reading it needs no account.
Reviewers see the comparison, not the quotation files themselves. Your uploaded PDFs stay private to your account.
5 Approve, reject or comment
At the bottom of the shared page is the Review section. A reviewer presses Sign in to review (a free NazmIQ account is enough; signing up brings them straight back) and then chooses:
- Approve — signs off this revision.
- Reject — needs a reason in the comment box.
- Add comment — a question or a note, without a decision.
Each person's latest approve or reject is the one that counts; a later comment does not undo it. Everyone with the link sees the review history with names and dates, so the team works from one record instead of an email thread.
6 Track decisions
In My comparisons, each revision shows a summary such as Approved by 2 · 1 comment. Press Share to see every review in full, with the reviewer's email address, alongside the link's view count and expiry.
Reviewers decide in their own time and in any order; there is no fixed sequence of steps.
7 The signed-off Excel
The Excel's Summary sheet has a Document control block. Its Approved By and Reviewed By rows are filled with the reviewers' names and the dates of their decisions — in your own export and in the download from the shared page. File it with the purchase order as the record of who approved what, and when.
8 Revisions
A share link holds a frozen copy of the revision it was made from. If you rerun the package later, the link does not change: what the reviewer approved is exactly what they read. The shared page tells them when a newer revision exists, so nobody signs off figures that have been superseded. Share the new revision to collect decisions on it.
9 Privacy & control
- Unguessable links: each link has a long random address.
- Expiry: 7, 30 or 90 days; then the copy is deleted automatically.
- Revoke any time: the page stops working at once and its copy is deleted. Decisions already recorded are kept with your comparison.
- Not public: shared pages are never indexed by search engines or stored in a cache.
- Emails stay private: people with the link see reviewers' names, not their email addresses.
- Deleting a comparison deletes its links and reviews with it.
The Data Processing Agreement sets out how saved comparisons, links and reviews are kept.
